The first swallow after holidays

Dear friends and sponsors of KiT,

the first swallow after holidays ;)

Thanks to this year's raffle, KiT managed to raise 13,900 CZK. The entire amount will be used to support new students in Tanzania – Judith Prosper Minde, Benson Michael Mrope and Joseph Simon Ekaruwa.

We are pleased to have accepted three new students into the KiT program: Joseph Simon Ekariio, Benson C. Mrope and Judith P. Minde.

We selected from several new candidates according to their school results, personal story and school recommendations. Our coordinator in Tanzania spoke with the candidates, verified the information directly in the schools and visited them also at their home. All three selected students come from humble backgrounds, but they are eager to study and move on.

According to our information, Joseph had the best exam results and is growing up in a very poor family.

Benson is also a strong student, growing up with only his mother and has three siblings.

Judith impressed us with her speech, purposefulness and desire to become an accountant and one day help other children.

Support has already been used for these new students and according to the latest information everyone is already in school.
