Graduation day for Rose
Hi everybody,
great news from Rose :)
Hello sir, hope you are doing well!
16/11/19 was my graduation day and I was able to attend it.
Thanks again all KiT members and now I'm continue well with my Field works.
Also my phone was got problem which made me to format everything in my phone, even all contacts and FB account ... so by now I don't have the contact of madam Vene and Nora.
Please, may you give to me their contacts so as I can be in touch with them. Really i missed them a lot.

KiT members meeting & news
Dear KiT sponsors,
after some time we are here again with some news from our project.
On August 9th 2019 there was the KiT members meeting in Statenice. Discussed were these topics:
- Current status of our supported kids, Jackeline, Godfrey and Rose.
Jackeline keeps on studying architecture. She's just finished the eighth week of her fieldworks. We will bring more news by the end of the year.
Godfrey has successfully finished his studies in Tanzania and he is just in the process of thinking about the following studies abroad. But there is also a possibility that he will get some job in Dar Es Salam or in any other tanzanian city and then he may stay there.
Rose has successfully passed the exams and has became a nurse. - Request from Ema (our KiT coordinator in Tanzania) for our another support.
He'd like to keep on studying and namely he'd like to get the Master's degree in his teaching subject. So far he is being assigned by the governments administration anywhere there is need. And in the majority of these opportunities was teaching at the first level of the basic/primary school. Additional studies should help him a lot for his future carier. We agreed on that we would like provide him with the requested support - if he will pass the entry exams. - Our students supported by KiT are successfully finishing their studies and leaving KiT. Therefore we would like start serching for a new talented/gifted student or two who were not so lucky with the family background. And we'd like start supporting her or him in coming year 2020. Ema is aware of this plan and he will help us with the search as always. The conditions for the candidates will be the same as in the previous years - esey in English, outstanding school results etc.
- We are still looking for the volunteer who could helps us with accountancy. Each year we are spending about 7.000 CZK for this activity and it is quite easy job. If anybody would like to help or knows anybody else who could help we would be very thankful. Templates from the previous years are available.
- Budget for the coming year - the awaited amount of expenditures should be around 75.000 CZK what should include -
- 2 x 20.000 czk for two new students
- 1 x 20.000 czk for Jackelin
- 7.000 czk accountancy (for the year 2018)
- 1.000 – 2.500 czk for Ema (based on the delivered results from this year autumn)
- plus other additional small expenditures.
Current balance on our KiT aacount (11.9.2019) is 80.400 czk.

Good morning!
I'm very happy and I thanks God coz now I'm finishing my first degree of nursing well :)
Yesterday was my last day of exams. So here I would like to thank you much together with all members of Kit organizations.
You have been supported me a lots! You I've been made me enjoyed my school life and study hard by paid for me all school fees.
I can't forget you since advanced level you were supported me a lot till now.
You've played a great part in my life! Be blessed always and I'm praying for all of you.
Now I'm waiting for the result and I believe I will perform well :)
After the result I will have one year of internship in hospital setting as I've told you previously.
I can have a lot of thing to say but for this I thank you again! I apreciate your contributions too.

Summer holidays news & meeting
Dear and still young friends,
summer and school holidays are in progress and thanks that we finally found some time to let you know some latest news from KiT.
Just a reminder: we are still supporting Jackeling, Rose and Godfrey.
Godfrey finished his last exams in last week and he is awaiting the results. Unfortunately he is waiting in a hospital, he got some infection and malaria. We sent him an amount of 2.700 CZK (including transfer fee) what is the amount he asked for. We thought that finances for him were already completed and that everything was already paid for. But unluckily additional expenditures were found and without those he would not be allowed for the exams. He also mentioned that he would like to go for one month study visit to Johanesburg but we have to discuss that matter.
Jackelin has lost her mobile phone so we were not able to reach her for some time. Otherwise she is quite busy in the school, got new subjects, thesis etc. But she finished her exams and now looking forward to the summer holidays. She is going to take practical fieldworks for ten weeks.
Rose is preparing herself thoroughly for the final university exams which will take place in August. The results should be out in September and in there should be a Graduation party in November. Following that she should spend one year on some hospital internship. After that she shold be able start using degree "registered nurse" and should be able to apply for a job.
Current balance on our KiT account is 69.300 CZK.
We already discussed with Ema that during autumn we would like to start searching for the new candidates so that we could start supporting them in coming year 2020.
Ema also asked us to discuss the possibility of supporting himself on his another studies which is he planning to take. He would like to complete a higher education. He hasn't decide yet were to study but there is a possibility that he would move to Uganda. We will also discuss that.
Big thanks to all for your still enabled regular money transfers :) We are still receiving the money and the amount on the KiT account is increasing
Together with Veny we tried to sell some tanzanian slippers to check it it there would be an interest. So far it looks like there isn't but "every little counts" ;)
We are lacking the energy for making it bigger. In JYSK raffle in February there was collected similar amount comparing to previous years. It's great the my colleagues in JYSK are still having our KiT project on their minds!
My spontaneous idea for the next KiT meeting date is Friday 9.8.2019 around 6 PM at Statenice. It's the same date when there will be finishing a kids camp at our house in Statenice. There should be a vast majority of the regular-kit-meeting-visitors/parents. We will be glad if anybody else will join even with the kids. Those coming from the further distance as well as those arriving from the shorter distance are welcomed to stay overnight (tent, mattress or whatever). We are plannign to make a fire!
