Happy New Year !!!
Welcome to new year 2018 and wishing You all the best in it!
We've sent more money to Godfrey for food.
Angelina has been selected to get the loan from government.
Agnes managed to get the job at Ocean Road Cancer Institute (http://www.orci.or.tz) and now is waiting to sign contract.
The current KiT account status is just over 17.000 czk and that's without the money sent to Godfrey (7.000 czk).
We are not going to start supporting new students, but we believe that next year we'll be able to start a "new generation" :)
We are going to send some info to those of You who offered help with communication with students.
And let us finish this short overview by the new year's wish from August:

KiT general meeting in Státy
Dear KiT sponsors,
After checking several possibilities we have decided for scheduling this year general meeting for Saturday on November 4th starting at 3 PM. Based on our previous experiences we decided that the meeting will take place in Statenice.
You are all welcomed and we hope that our small house at Nad Vinici 508 will serve enough space for everybody :)
We are planning to server at least our already several times successfully tested garlic spread :) and if the whether will not be against us we are also planning to have a fire and hot wine. we heard that this is making people to talk more and that it's great for a good mood!
We'd like to talk about what's going on in KiT and also some things from both the past and future. Additionally we'd like to talk about delegating some common KiT tasks to some of You as we already talked about this possibility. We will try think this a bit more deeper and prepare some details for You.
We would appreciate if You could let us know who would like to join us.
And as always as the end of the year is approaching there is a time in TZA of changing the A-level studies for University studies as well as the time for paying another school year / semester fees. If someone is planning to or knows about someone who would like to send some one-off payment now is the best time and we would encourage You to do so now. It will help us deciding to whom and what amount of money to send and also for which activities we have enough money.

KiT - highlights
Dear KiT sponsors,
short news and what's going on in KiT:
last week we sent to Tanzania 50.000 CZK (fees 2.137 CZK) and these money should be for four students:
- August who progresses in his medicine studies is entering the fourth year (1,225 millions TZS)
- Kazu / Lydia who decided to go for a one year studies to become a midwife with diploma :) The school is a far far away from home in Mwanza - Tandabui Institute of Health Science and Technology (TIHEST, 1 million TZS for the first semester and by the end of the October we will have to send some more money).
- Jackelin for some side extra costs and also for some equipment for the University (1 million TZS)
- Rose will receive just a bit over 1 million TZS for the first semester of her final year studies. We are still waiting for the final requested amount announced by the school during October.
- And last but not least for Emma we dedicated 0,2 million TZS.
We will see how much money will be needed for Kazu and Rose in October but we suppose that it will not be much.
Todays fresh news are that Angelina has a chance to be accepted for the bachelor studies of arts at University of Saint Augustin in Mwanza. SO fingers crossed for her and we'll keep You updated. No news from Godfrey so far.
On the KiT bank account there are currently 11 thousands CZK. We have to pay for this year accountancy still (should be again cca 7.000 CZK).
One more info - that the new web pages are currently under development. We are looking forward to these.
