KiT report for the year 2016
Dear friends,
late but still ... promised report for the year 2016 can be found in DOCUMENTS.
It's a summary of the main events in the year 2016. We will provide You with more info on our KiT general meeting. At the time of writing this post the meeting is scheduled for the last October Sunday (2019/10/29). You are all welcomed! :)
As always the time and the place will be clarified later (there is also the possibility that the date will be updated as well). But we are planning to place the meeting somewhere in Prague or the closest vicinity and we are planning to start sometime between 15 and 16 PM.

Spring newsletter
Dear friends,
May is approaching and You haven't heard a word from us. No no, we are not sleeping but we are just behind our schedules although we are working hard (most probably as everybody ;)).
But don't worry! Everything is running in KiT as it should and we are still progressing!!! :)
By the end of this month the Report for the 2016 should be ready together with some news - we will distribute those.
We are planning to schedule the KiT general meeting sometime later in the year. We will let You know. But most probably there will some other unofficial meeting before that.
So just shortly:
in January we sent some money to Godfrey and Angelina for last semester of their A-level.
Today as well as in April we sent some additional money to Godfrey for graduation, food and for some time after leaving the school. At this moment they are at home awaiting the results. Actually Godfrey is staying with some of his friends and he is looking for a job. He needs some for him to be able to get by and to be able to prepare himself for the University studies.
We sent some money to Jackline as well. She will need those for some more complicated project at the University.
August keeps studying to become a doctor (he is in the fourth year) and Rose is progressing in her studies as well.
Agness and Gregory have already found some jobs and they are doing well. They are deciding were to go next (more about that together with some images later).
Kazu is trying to be accepted for some government school and to keep going that direction. Hopefully we will know more in summer ...

Sent money info
Hi,
just a short info about sending 5.300 CZK (fees 550 CZK) to TZA for Godfrey – for his Graduation and also a small part for him to be able to stay at school (food, accommodation ...). Altogether 240.000 TZS (cca 2.895 CZK).
Furthermore Jackelin received 200.000 TZS (2.405 CZK) for her architectural project „hotel“.
She will need more money (cca 300.000 TZS) in June.

Gregory has Graduated !

Money to TZA
Dear friends and Kit sponsors,
we sent 19.833 CZK to Tanzania yesterday (WU fees 1.167 CZK), altogether 21.000 CZK. Received money in Tanzania - 1.700.000 TZS.
Jackelin: 300.000 TZS - she will use these for buying a new computer (3.500 CZK)
Rose: 1.015.000 TZS - school fees, additional school costs, money for exams, registration fees, accommodation ... Rose received 1 million TZA in the past and now 1.015 million TZA, altogether 2.015 million (11.655 CZK + 11.830 CZK).
Godfrey: cca 200.000 TZS (2.350 CZK) mainly for shared student projects in situ but we hope to get more details from Emma. He should make a call with Godfrey teachers to get the info.
Emma: 100.000 TZS - administration costs (1.170 CZK)
August: we haven't sent him any money so far. We'd like to make an agreement with Emma that we will send the money directly to August to avoid additional costs for sending the money within Tanzania. August will need 1.055 million TZS (12.300 CZK). The money has to be deposited at the school bank account by October 28th 2016 at latest.
Angelina and Godfrey are going to pay the school fees in January.
