New Bank Account !!!
Hi,
this is just to inform you that from 30.6.2014 we have a new bank account in Fio Bank: 2000614773 / 2010.
At the moment we are working on canceling the previous bank account from Ceska Sporitelna. However, we do not have the exact date when the bank account will not be functioning (usually within one month). Nonetheless, I am kindly asking you to cancel your permanent orders the soonest.

Pre-summer news
Greetings friends,
before we all are going to leave our home for summer vacations we'd like to provide You with just a few words regarding KiT:
To Rose we paid the first semester of second year of her A-level studies and the accommodation fees as well (additionally we paid the missing part of the accommodation fees from the previous year). To Lydia we paid part of the school fees and other necessary half year spendings. We are waiting for the info from A.G.A. We are not going to welcome new students this year.
On Monday June 30th 2014 we are going to open a new KiT bank account at Fio Bank. The account will be without fees and it should safely accommodate our needs. By doing this we should decrease our bank administration costs by 2.500 czk per year. The old bank account we will be still active for some time. We will provide more info soon.
Our KiT web pages are being redesigned and should be live soon (Dan is fighting as a lion ;)). Then we are going to translate all the texts to English (Jenda L. already promised to help) and it will be nice in the end.
Invoice for the accountancy for the year 2013 is 4.500 czk what is less by 2.850 czk comparing to year 2012. That shows that the decrease in accountancy items, mainly decreasing the number of money transfers from bank to bank, was useful. Furthermore we were informed by M. Rum that we do not need to submit gift tax return for the year 2013 therefore we will save another 1.500 czk.
It's also quite pleasant information that we received a 24.000 czk gift from JYSK (well know company ;))!
Call to everybody: so far we've received response to our last e-mail only from Dan Holk (many thanks to him!) ... note that the mails are being sent from my work address but the texts are from all of us and if possible with revision by Mandy. We are going to send the future e-mail from our official KiT e-mail address info@komenskyintanzania.com. Anyway Dan H. wrote down 5 painless sentences about his family in return with a bike-trip-image in attachment. Many thanks once again! We hope that we will receive from others as well ;)

Former web pages have been fully revisited and updated / fixed (mainly simplified).
I'm apologizing for the delay with their reconstruction.
In the meantime there are being developed and tested the new ones.

T-shirts
Dear friends and KiT patrons,
we have for you just two administrative trifles.
First we'd like to ask you for your permission for production of T-shirts with KiT logos for our students. Costs are not so high (approx. 250 czk per piece), "kids" are really about them and they look great on photos as well (those we are putting on our web then). We were thinking about sending them as a Christmas gifts or that Simon and Venny could bring them with when going to Tanzania in Autumn.
Second we'd like to ask you whether there is anybody who could get some discarded notebooks, approx. 2-3 pieces, so that Simon and Venny could take them to Tanzania. Those would be quite helpful for our students as a great study resource. For the rest of the students we are thinking about buying some in Tanzania. We would like to hear or read you comments or ideas. So would you agree with buying the notebooks by using KiT resources?

Introduce Yourselves
Dear friends and KiT patrons!
As You may already know our organization is focusing on a friendly approach to students whom we are helping by providing financial support. Therefore we would like to rerun one successful event from the past. As may remember at that time we sent to our "children" a short information about us, who we are and what we are doing for a living or what are into. It wasn't from each individual person but those few lines were put together in pairs or families.
Since that time almost all students are different from those we wrote to those letters. And the new students know almost nothing about us. We think that's now is the right time to fix this :).
May we ask You to wrote just a few lines about yourselves and send us also some pictures of you, it may be even some one one? We will then revisited and will decide whether to print it all out and send it to our students or if we will put it on our web sites under some access restricted page (which is by the way currently being reconstructed).
All the propositions, ideas and comments are welcomed of course.
We are looking forward to seeing your contributions.
