Pre-summer news
Dear friends,
we'd like to inform you that the KiT Committee agreed on choosing new students for this year.
Right at the beginning of the processes we received three great essays from obviously talented kids. After reading those we came to a conclusion that we don't need to search for more candidates - these three students's school results and essays are realy great comparing to those of students from the previous years.
So we are welcoming three new students - Izack, Deborah and Yaely. You can find their essays on the page with documents under the section Candidates.
Current amount on our bank account is 135.000 CZK. We are receiving cca 100.000 CZK per year on regular basis.
This year in October we will send the last support money to Jackelin (2 Mil TZS what is approximately 21000 CZK depending on the current exchange rate). If everything will go according to plan Jackelin should finish her studies in August 2022.
In coming days we are going to send money for another school year to other two students, Naomi and Mariam (we started to supportem them last year and the amount is the same, 2 mil TZS). And we will send the same money the our three new students as well.
Based on these estimates we should spend the money effectively and we will still have some backup money for some unexpected situation.
