A lot of good news

Hi friends!

We hope you are all doing well! We have for you a lot of good news from KiT for you so we decided to make your day :)

Veny's niece Naomi who would like to become a biomedical engineer has in past two years successfully completed with great results her A-level studies. In her class she was one of the top students. She was spending her free time by learning programming, she was learning how to use 3D printers and last but not least she was studying the technology of hydropony. In her final exams she received great score of 1.9, she was recognized as the best IT student and received the ICDL certificate. Currently she is looking for the right university on which she would like to continue with her studies (even outside of Tanzania). We would like to show our appreciation by keep on supporting her.

Mariam - supported also since 2020 - has similarly to Naomi finished her A-level studies with awesome result 1,6. She would like to keep on studying on the University of Dar es Salaam. But she still has to make up her mind whether to become a scientist or a doctor. Veny was in touch with Mariam's father during this year and she also managed to meet her.

Our three new students, Izack, Deborah and Yaely who we started to support in year 2021 are doing very well as well :)

Izack is successfully studying on the Kisanka Secondary School although he is struggling with some health problem and also some not so bright results in his studies. He met Veny in January and he told her that we would like to focus on physics, geography and math.

Deborah successfully finished her first year of the A-level studies and progressed to the second year. During the summer holidays she joined the physics, chemistry and math tutoring groups. She is struggling with these a bit.

Yaely finished her sixth year on the Irkisongo School in Arusha with nice final score B despite the fact she was suffering from asthma during the year.

At the beginning of September all three started next year of their high school studies and we will keep on supporting them. We've already sent them the money for the coming year. The total amount sent was approx. 67,000 CZK. After sending this amount to Tanzania we still have approx. 80,000 CZK on the KiT account.

Thanks a lot to all and have a great time!
