Mariam was born in 2003 in the city of Tanga. During her childhood her family had to move to Moshi under Kilimanjaro due to her fathers job. Her father is the only educated member of their family and the whole family is depented on him. Other family members are not able to help him financialy. Due to that he was forced to take a loan to be able to pay the Mariam's school fees. Her mother is a housewife but she is trying to help her husband with paying the Mariam's school fees by enganing in small businesses. In the future she'd like to study physics, chemistry and biology in any combination. She is thinking about becoming a doctor so that she would be able to help other people and also to help preventing unnecessary death espacialy of pregnant women.
